Former AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida has recently teased an intriguing change to her look on social media.
At Double or Nothing, Britt Baker defeated Shida to claim the AEW gold. This ended Shida’s 372 day reign as champion.
It looks like a belt-less waist won’t be the only change to Shida’s aesthetic. The Japanese star took to Twitter to share a photo of her hair on the floor.
Shida captioned the photo “#RESTART”, her mindset following her title loss.

On an episode of Dynamite before Double or Nothing, Spanish-language announcer Willie Urbina seemingly mocked Shida’s Japanese accent.
Following Urbina’s AEW departure, Shida broke her silence the incident, stating that she didn’t feel any anger.
