Former AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida took to Twitter today to express her desire in bringing a Japanese star back to AEW.
The second annual Hana Kimura Memorial Show ‘Hana Bagas’ took place today (March 23), with Syuri taking on Japanese wrestling star ASUKA (VENY).
VENY previously wrestled in the AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator Tournament last year, where she was eliminated in the first round by Emi Sakura.
However, Shida took to Twitter during the show, expressing her desire to bring VENY back to the promotion, saying:
I definitely have to bring VENY back to AEW. #木村花バグース
Shida herself was recently removed from the Owen Hart Foundation tournament due to travel issues, which AEW announced as an injury on Rampage to much confusion from Shida herself.
I definitely have to bring VENY back to AEW.#木村花バグース
