HOOK AEW Contract Negotiations Update

HOOK AEW Contract Negotiations Update AEW

A backstage update has emerged regarding HOOK’s negotiations with AEW regarding a new contract.

Since debuting for the company in late 2021, HOOK has solidified himself as one of the brightest prospects on the AEW roster.

Capturing the FTW Championship on three occasions since his debut, HOOK is now a member of The Opps alongside Samoa Joe and Katsuyori Shibata, who have been feuding with Christian Cage’s The Patriarchy on AEW TV.

While HOOK has been consistently featured on AEW programming, there have been lingering questions from fans regarding the second-generation star’s future in the company, with previous reports last year suggesting that his deal was set to be up at the end of 2024.

Now, in a new update PWInsider has revealed that the 25-year-old has signed with notable wrestling agent Barry Bloom for representation in his upcoming contract negotiations with AEW.

While the news of Bloom signing HOOK has only just been reported, according to PWInsider this actually happened several months ago.

It was also noted that AEW are expected to “make sure” that HOOK remains with the company, with WWE previously being reported to have interest in signing him, however, it is unclear if that is still the case now.

We will provide further updates on HOOK’s contract negotiations with AEW as they become available.
