A new report has revealed some details regarding how NXT talent is feeling today heading into tonight’s big reboot episode.
A number of NXT names have spoken positively about the upcoming changes in recent interviews, but that doesn’t seem to be the case backstage in reality.
According to PWInsider, there is “a lot of trepidation”, especially coming off the back of the recent releases which saw people let go even if they’d been doing everything perfectly.
There’s also the fact that Triple H won’t be at the show tonight, due to his recent cardiac event, so NXT talents don’t actually know who’ll be running the show.
Will it be Triple H’s usual team consisting of the likes of Shawn Michaels, Matt Bloom, William Regal and Road Dogg, or will there be some Vince McMahon representatives overseeing the process?
These are questions that even the wrestlers don’t know the answers to, so there’s clearly some anxiousness and uncertainty heading into tonight. In fact, there’s a “great sense of unease”.
WrestleTalk.com will have live coverage of tonight’s show, so be sure to stay tuned to see how it all goes down.
