ROH announced this past week that four stars had been pulled from Final Battle, and here’s how the promotion is expected to handle the changes.
As per PWInsider, ROH won’t be revealing any of the planned changes until the night of the show itself.
The names that had to be pulled were EC3, Bandido, Flamita and Kenny King.
EC3 was initially going to be facing Jay Briscoe, so that match won’t be happening, and Bandido & Flamita would have been two thirds of MexaSquad defending the Six-Man Tag Title against Shane Taylor Promotions, which is off too.
No match had been announced for King at the time it was confirmed that he’d be off the show.
As per PWInsider, here’s ROH’s COVID-19 testing protocol:
Ring of Honor talents are required to self-test (under the supervision of a nurse via Zoom) for COVID-19 and submit those samples to a lab. Once they pass those tests, they are permitted to travel to the ROH hotel, at which point they are sequestered in their hotel room and undergo a series of additional tests over the course of the bubble stay, their performances and even before their exit from the hotel. The ROH Bubble procedures, the strictest in professional wrestling, were devised in conjunction with the Maryland State Athletic Commission.
