It recently emerged that PAC is dealing with an injury, and Dave Meltzer is now reporting in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the Englishman suffered his injury at Revolution last month.
Meltzer has explained that PAC actually hurt his ankle when he was eliminated from the Casino Battle Royal on last month’s pay-per-view, which was later won by his tag team partner Rey Fenix.
Laredo Kid killed it in two great matches largely in a spot originally meant for Pac, to team with Rey Fenix & Penta the past two weeks. Pac got an ankle injury in the elimination from the Battle Royal that wasn’t believed to have been too serious. Hopefully they’ll have openings for him down the line
Laredo Kid has been brought in for the last few episodes of Dynamite to team with The Lucha Brothers, and Dave Meltzer has revealed that the spot was originally set for PAC, but plans had to change following the injury.
At this time, there is no word on when AEW is planning on being able to have PAC back in the ring. For any potential updates or new information on the matter, make sure you stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com.
