Huge AEW World Title Match Announced For December 30 Dynamite

Kenny Omega defeated Joey Janela on the December 16, 2020, edition of AEW: Dynamite. Had Janela won, then he would have earned a shot at the AEW World Championship.

With the loss, who will be next to challenge Omega? It didn’t take us long to find out the answer. Kenny Omega will be defending the AEW World Championship against Rey Fenix on the December 30, 2020, edition of AEW: Dynamite.

PAC came out after Omega’s match and said Fenix never lost in the Eliminator Tournament and should have a shot at the title. PAC then said he had just talked with Tony Khan and the match was official.

Kenny Omega vs. Rey Fenix is a pay-per-view quality main event. AEW is giving it away for free on TNT.

They are billing the December 30 show as a special Dynamite. This main event match should be one critics will love and fans should tune in to watch.

As always, WrestleTalk will provide live coverage of the show and any future match announcements.
