Huge Championship Match Announced For AEW: Dynamite Next Week

Last week on AEW: Dynamite, Cody Rhodes returned with a new look and revenge on his mind. After his appearance, Brodie Lee challenged him to a Dog Collar match.

We didn’t know when this match might take place. However, we now know when it will happen.

Cody came out on tonight’s AEW: Dynamite and answered Brodie’s challenge. Originally, Cody said no. He implied it was not befitting of an Executive VP to take such a violent match.

However, after leaving the ring, Cody returned and said he was actually going to have no regrets, no limits, etc. and accepted the match. He also announced the match would actually take place on next week’s Dynamite.

This match should be old school. It will also be violent. Will Cody gain his title back? Will Brodie Lee be cemented as the major player in AEW?

It will be interesting to see where we head from here. My guess is the 3rd match will happen at Full Gear and will be a cage match. Being a fan of the 80s, the ultimate blow-off match in a feud like this was the Cage. Cody seems like too big of an 80s fan not to have one of these soon.

After the acceptance, Brodie Lee came down to the ring and a massive brawl erupted. Next week’s Dynamite also celebrates 30 years of Jericho.
