Huge Championship Match Announced For October 9 WWE SmackDown

Tonight on WWE SmackDown, we got several huge announcements regarding Hell in a Cell, next week’s show, and even the reveal of the mystery woman. However, one of the most surprising was the announcement of a huge championship match next week.

Sasha Banks came out to confront Bayley. Bayley wasn’t in the building tonight. However, this didn’t stop Banks from announcing she will be challenging Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

We will be getting the championship match next week on SmackDown. Given how long WWE has been building this feud, this announcement was quite surprising.

You’d think this match would be saved for Hell in a Cell. However, next week’s SmackDown is also the draft. Could this signal one of these ladies is heading to Monday night to help balance the rosters?

Could we see Bayley head to Raw? If one is headed to Raw, then this makes sense we could be getting a title change. We’ll just have to wait and see.
