WWE has confirmed a huge Universal Championship match will take place at the upcoming SummerSlam event.
At the conclusion of last night’s (July 19) Money In The Bank show, John Cena made his return to WWE to confront Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
On tonight’s Raw, Cena announced that he would be facing Reigns for the Universal Championship at the Biggest Party of the Summer.
Cena also announced that he would be appearing on this week’s episode of SmackDown.
WWE SummerSlam streams live on Saturday, August 21 2021 on the WWE Network or Peacock in the United States.
