Goldberg is reportedly planned to return to WWE for a match with Bobby Lashley.
Fightful Select (subscription required) reported the news earlier today, saying the plan is currently to have Goldberg’s return take place on Monday’s episode of Raw. This will be to set up a match with Lashley, currently planned for SummerSlam. This would be their first match together.
Monday’s episode of Raw will be the first episode of the show with a live audience since March of 2020.
The report also reiterates that Goldberg is on a two-match-per-year contract. He had his first match of 2021 at the Royal Rumble against Drew McIntyre.
