With Double or Nothing set to take place next weekend, AEW President Tony Khan has booked another huge match for the pay-per-view.
Fresh off beating Darby Allin for the TNT Championship on last week’s episode of Dynamite, AEW has announced that Miro will be defending his belt against Lance Archer on May 30.
#AEW GM @TonyKhan has signed a huge championship match: @ToBeMiro will defend the TNT Title vs Lance Archer (9-2 record) at #DoubleOrNothing May 30 on PPV! Ahead of the match, Miro will address the fans tonight on #AEWDynamite for the 1st time since capturing the title last week! https://t.co/IfOB0z2bzw pic.twitter.com/xUB0Cjqdtv

This is not the first time that Lance Archer has challenged for the TNT Championship, with the former WWE star actually fighting Cody Rhodes at Double or Nothing last year to become the inaugural champion.
Unless Miro is made to defend his title in an impromptu match on Dynamite tonight, or on next week’s show, this will be the first time he has had to defend this title.
Below are the matches already announced for the Double or Nothing pay-per-view, with the rest set to be announced on Dynamite tonight:
- AEW World Championship Triple Threat Match – Kenny Omega (c) vs. PAC vs. Orange Cassidy
- AEW Women’s Championship Match – Hikaru Shida (c) vs. Britt Baker
- Cody Rhodes vs. Anthony Agogo
- Hangman Page vs. Brian Cage
- Casino Battle Royale
- TNT Championship – Miro (c) vs. Lance Archer
