Huge Matches Announced For Rampage Including An AEW x NJPW Sneak Peek

There were huge matches announced for this week’s AEW Rampage including a sneak peek of ‘Forbidden Door’ action and a championship match.

In a sneak peek for June’s AEW x NJPW pay-per-view show, ‘Forbidden Door’ this week’s episode of AEW Rampage will host a matchup between AEW’s Adam Cole and an NJPW icon, Tomohiro Ishii in a qualifying match for the upcoming Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.

Elsewhere on the card, Jade Cargill will have her TBS Championship on the line in a match with Marina Shafir.

Eddie Kingston will be taking on Daniel Garcia with Santana, Ortiz, and all of the members of the Jericho Appreciation Society banned from ringside after a fiery promo on tonight’s Dynamite from Kingston.

Also announced for the show was a match between Lance Archer and Serpentico and interview segments where Tony Schiavone is set to talk to Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland as well as get in the middle of several of the women who have qualified for the Women’s Owen Cup when he chats with Britt Baker, Toni Storm and Jamie Hayter.

AEW Rampage will return to its regular timeslot after having aired early last week with subsequently lowered than average ratings for the Good Friday edition of the show headlined by Hangman Adam Page defeating challenger Adam Cole to retain his AEW World Championship.
