Huge New Match Set For WWE Night Of Champions 2023 WWE

A huge new match was set for WWE’s upcoming premium live event from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, WWE Night of Champions.

In the middle of the second match of the WWE Heavyweight World Championship tournament, Cody Rhodes was attacked by Brock Lesnar.

With Lesnar pulling Cody away from pinning The Miz after he hit three consecutive Cross Rhodes finishers, he delivered a violent F5 outside of the ring.

Then driving Rhodes through the announcer’s desk, he then got a microphone as he showed off a black eye and what appeared to be numerous stitches in his forehead.

“You want to take credit for this Cody?” Lesnar challenged as he had a major challenge for Rhodes:

“I want to talk about a fight. I want to talk about a fight, a fight! I want a fight! You, me, Night of Champions, a fight. What do you got to say? Who is the coward now?”

Tossing the mic at Cody to end the segment, backstage officials (including a Jason Jordan cameo!) attended to Cody as Lesnar left.

Making his way slowly up the ramp, Brock Lesnar paused to stare at the WWE Heavyweight Championship for a moment before laughing, seemingly highly amused at having totally busted Cody Rhodes’ chances to be the inaugural title holder.

Elsewhere on tonight’s show, the SmackDown side of the tournament bracket was revealed. You can read more about that by clicking right here.
