Huge Star Leaves STARDOM

Huge Star Leaves STARDOM

A huge star in Japan has just announced her departure from STARDOM after losing her match at Yokohama Dream Cinderella.

Bea Priestley has been wrestling for World Wonder Ring STARDOM since late 2017. According to Priestley herself, she just wrestled her final match for the promotion.

During today’s Yokohama Dream Cinderella event, Priestley unsuccessfully challenged for Utami Hayashita’s World of STARDOM Championship. After the match, she thanked the crowd and revealed that this was her last match in STARDOM.

STARDOM’s official English Twitter account recounted Priestley’s words, tweeting:

“Utami pinned Bea after two BT Bombs to retain. V4 for Utami. After the match Bea said that Utami is not just a young girl, but she is very strong. Bea said ‘Momo you suck right? I’m sorry I said that all those times. I think Momo is really my best friend.’

“Bea said she loves Utami, loves Momo and loves Stardom. She thanks Stardom and says it’s her last match. Thank you Japan.”

Whether or not this was Priestley’s last match in Japan is unclear. Priestley also recently left the NJPW stable United Empire, which would suggest that she isn’t planning on working in the Land of the Rising Sun.

Priestley’s partner, Will Ospreay, retweeted the post quoting her final words. Ospreay recently made history at NJPW Sakura Genesis, which you can read about here.
