Huge Star Returns On AEW: Dynamite – Match Set For Next Week

Prior to tonight’s AEW: Dynamite, Tony Khan tweeted there would be huge surprises on tonight’s AEW: Dynamite. We got a couple. The first, which I believe is probably the one he was referring to for shifting the balance of power, pertains to the potential of a major celebrity taking part in an AEW match or angle of some sort.

The second big surprise of the night was the return of PAC. PAC has been out of the country since the beginning of the COVID pandemic.

When the United States shut down the borders for international travel, PAC was unable to get back into the country. Prior to him leaving, he had been involved in an angle where he started a new faction called The Death Triangle including The Lucha Bros.

Early on, The Lucha Bros couldn’t get into the US either. However, they were ultimately able to get back and joined Eddie Kingston’s family.

Tonight, the two brothers fought it out in a brutal, violent match. Penta El Zero M got the win and avenged his loss from the Eliminator tournament. After the match, Eddie Kingston entered the ring and tried to further drive the brothers apart.

However, he didn’t get to do a lot of talking. PAC’s music hit and The Bastard was back.

After the refs separated the two, AEW announced PAC will make his return to the ring next week. PAC will be facing The Blade, who is part of Kingston’s crew. It’s great to see PAC back. However, it would have probably been more impactful if we hadn’t seen his promo last week and he just appeared out of nowhere.
