Huge Star Says He’s Not Done With WWE Despite Absence

A huge star has clarified his status with WWE, saying his career wrestling for the company is not done, despite not being a lot less active nowadays.

The last time we saw John Cena on WWE broadcast was at WrestleMania 36 in April for the Firefly Fun House match with Bray Wyatt, before and after which, he took lengthy time away.

Cena was a guest on the Jimmy Fallon Show, and explained that, despite not being around as much, his time with WWE is not finished. He explained:

“With Elbow Grease books, I have a very young audience in WWE. A lot of kids, a lot of families, and as my in-ring career is not as active, it’s not over, but it’s not as active. I wanted to continue to send messaging to those younger viewers because so many times parents have said ‘your ‘Never Give Up’ words have helped my son or daughter’.”

Since WrestleMania, Cena has been working on many outside movie and TV projects, but he remains under contract and listed on the active roster on WWE’s website.

Is there anyone specific you’d like to see Cena have a match with when he next returns? Let us know in the comments.
