Huge Update On Plans For FTR Title Reign AEW

A new report has indicated that the duo will soon drop their AAA gold. Per Fightful Select (subscription required), AAA talent believe that FTR are losing the championship ‘sooner rather than later’.

The duo most recently defended the gold on the April 6 edition of Dynamite, when they faced the Young Bucks with both their AAA and ROH titles on the line.

Harwood and Wheeler dropped thair ROH Tag Team Title to the Briscoes at ROH Final Battle earlier this month, losing to the brothers in a double dog collar bout.

FTR will be in action at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17.

At the January 4 Tokyo Dome show, Harwood and Wheeler will defend their IWGP Tag Team Championship World Tag League 2022 Winners Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI.
