Brock Lesnar’s Money In The Bank Match Revealed?
WWE Backlash is now in the books so it’s time to look ahead to their next pay-per-view Money in the Bank. Two question marks hanging over the show surround Brock Lesnar. Will he be at the show and if he is, will he be defending the Universal Championship. As of now, Lesnar is reportedly confirmed for Money in the Bank for a championship match, but that answer presents its own question: who will he face? One person asked Dave Meltzer this on Twitter, suggesting that Braun Strowman could be next in line. Strowman faced Lesnar at No Mercy last year and again at January’s Royal Rumble – and it was made clear on commentary that the pair have unfinished business. Strowman also doesn’t have a feud right now, unless you count squashing Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn every week since the Superstar Shake-Up. However, in response to the Twitter question, Meltzer responded that Braun Strowman was, “One of two options.”
Meltzer doesn’t elaborate on who the second option is, but one would assume after his win against Samoa Joe last night and the screwy nature of their cage match at Greatest Royal Rumble, Roman Reigns is also in contention for the next Universal Championship match.
