Hulk Hogan And Brutus Beefcake Scheduled For WWE WrestleMania

For the first time since 2015, Hulk Hogan will be a part of WWE’s WrestleMania weekend festivities. Mike Johnson of PWInsider has confirmed the news with multiple sources within WWE.

Hogan last appeared at the show of shows when he was part of a memorable nWo reunion at WrestleMania 31, with the trio of Hogan, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash helping to aid Sting against Triple H and D-Generation X.

Hogan was fired later that year stemming from racist comments he made in a leaked private video several years earlier becoming public. He was eased back into the fold last year, with WWE confirming he had returned to the company prior to Extreme Rules, which caused a degree of controversy behind the scenes.

Nevertheless, Hogan was back in front of the cameras at Crown Jewel, with WWE seemingly playing by the philosophy of in for a penny in for a pound with regards to controversy and that show. It was actually a smart strategy. Hogan then returned to Raw earlier this year to pay tribute to the late Mean Gene Okerlund. WrestleMania 35 looks like the final piece of the puzzle for his reintegration.

According to Johnson, Hogan will not be coming alone. He is reporting that Brutus Beefcake is still rumoured to go into the Hall Of Fame this year and that Hogan may be part of his induction (despite reports that there would be no inductions this year and despite the pair having a very public falling out a couple of years back). Regardless of whether he goes into the HOF, Beefcake is reportedly scheduled to be involved in WrestleMania in some capacity.

Johnson also notes that several other names for the past are likely to be involved with WrestleMania, with the most notable doing the rounds being Steve Austin. What he or any of the others will do on the granddaddy of them all remains to be seen.
