As we know, WWE‘s upcoming Crown Jewel show in Saudi Arabia will be little more than a glorified house show, and so if they want to make it memorable, why not bring back someone like Hulk Hogan?
Hogan was reinstated to the WWE Hall of Fame in July, three years after he was kicked out for making some incredibly racist remarks during a leaked sex tape.
WWE seems to have tried to hush too much talk about his controversial return, and little has been heard about Hogan since, other than that he’s been backstage at a few shows.
Now though, PWInsider is reporting that WWE are looking at potentially booking Hogan for their November 2 show in Saudi Arabia. As a very progressive man, Hogan would of course be very at home in such a progressive country…
Saudi officials, and the Crown Prince himself, are said to be huge fans of 1990s WWF, which is why the likes of Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker are expected to wrestle on the show. Hogan would presumably be the cherry on the nostalgia cake for the Saudis, and a cake that WWE are almost certainly willing to bake if the financial incentives are there.

You would expect that if Hogan goes make his return, then it would be there first in a string of appearances for him. The reaction will likely be very mixed, with the “let’s move on” fans battling with the “he’s a racist” fans.
On top of all this, there are still a significant amount of people backstage who are not supportive of Hogan returning to WWE TV.
