Hulk Hogan Set To Sign New WWE Deal

Hulk Hogan Set To Sign New WWE Deal

It’s being reported that WWE’s resident controversy Hulk Hogan is on the verge of signing a new deal with the company.

Hogan, who was only reinstated into the WWE Hall of Fame this year following a three-year ban for making racist comments on a leaked sex tape, is about to sign a legends deal with WWE, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.

His only public appearance for WWE since his ban was lifted came at the Crown Jewel show in Saudi Arabia on November 2, where he acted as host.

Meltzer notes that it is unlikely that Hogan will be wrestling any time soon, and as of now, WWE has no plans to bring him back to TV in a temporary or permanent role.

Hogan spoke to The Orlando Sentinel before his return and said there are plenty of plans in the works. He also said that he and WWE were “moving forward at a rapid pace.”

“This is a total ego trip, but this is what I would love: To be the hood ornament of the WWE, to be the Babe Ruth of the WWE, and to always be around when any of the big stuff is going on…

“I sure would love to be a part of the WrestleManias and the big events and the grand openings and the new conquests of the WWE.

“Saudi Arabia! Hong Kong! China! Antarctica! The North Pole! Whatever it is, I’d like to be part of the ongoing growth of the wrestling business, and be with WWE the whole time, that’s the only place to be.”

While Hogan remains optimistic about his future, it has to be said that he is still a very controversial character, and many fans would have something to say about a return, be it positive or negative.
