News broke earlier today that WWE had confirmed that Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan would be a part of this Friday’s Crown Jewel event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
In an interesting development, Hogan has actually since been removed from the “Featured Superstars” section for Crown Jewel on WWE.com, but Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that WWE has confirmed to them that Hogan will be there Friday, and also gave details on what role the ‘Immortal One’ will play.
Hulk Hogan will indeed be… the “host of the event.” Of course, we don’t know exactly what that will entail, but probably such things as handing the World Cup winner their trophy and then proceeding to hit said World Cup winner with a Big Boot and a Leg Drop, declaring himself as “the best in the world, brother.”
Hogan dropped hints a few days back that he would be part of the event, but until today nothing was confirmed.
In other Crown Jewel notes that you may have missed, John Cena and Daniel Bryan have both been removed from the card following the reports that they were refusing to travel, and Renee Young is set to be part of the commentary team for the show.
Hogan was reintroduced into the WWE Hall of Fame earlier this year after being removed in 2015 following multiple controversies, and Crown Jewel will mark his first on-screen appearance for the company the since of Summer 2015.
