The WWE return of Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has seemingly been confirmed by 16-time World Champion Ric Flair.
WWE previously announced that Ric Flair will be one of the legends who will make an appearance on the January 23 ’30th Anniversary’ edition of Raw.
Speaking on his To Be The Man podcast, Flair noted that Hulk Hogan will also be at the show.
Flair said:
“(Are there any surprises you expect to see there?) Not that I know of. I talked to ‘Taker. I know Steve (Austin) can’t come.
“Hulkamania is coming. He confirmed to me last night he’s coming. Yeah, it will be fun. It’s always fun seeing the guys.”
WWE hasn’t announced that Hulk Hogan will be at the show at the time of writing (January 18), so it’s unclear if he’ll actually appear or just be backstage.
Notable names who have been announced for the 30th Anniversary special include Shawn Michaels, the Undertaker, Kurt Angle and the Bella Twins.
Two title bouts are also slated for the show. Judgment Day will challenge for The Usos’ Raw Tag Team Championship, fuelling speculation that WWE will fully separate the Raw and SmackDown tag titles again.
The US Championship will also be on the line, with Austin Theory set to defend his gold against Bobby Lashley.
Becky Lynch and Bayley will also face off in a steel cage bout.
Here’s the announced card for the event:
– Austin Theory (c) vs. Bobby Lashley – US Championship
– The Usos (c) vs. Dominik Mysterio & Damian Priest – Raw Tag Team Championship
– Becky Lynch vs. Bayley – Steel cage match
– Bloodline Acknowledgement Ceremony
