The releases from WWE today are a very tough story. It is always hard to lose one’s job but in a situation like this, it is that much harder. One such person who was released from WWE is Hurricane Helms.
Helms has been working as a producer since January 2019. In contrast to some others, Helms provided a positive message on Twitter following his release.
Thanks everyone for all the great messages. I truly believe that this is just temporary. There are many people in this world in far worse situations than I am, so please don’t worry about me too much. I’ll always be The Hurricane and I’m always just a tweet away. Love you all!

It is nice to see someone like Helms put some of this into perspective. As a retired wrestler with a lengthy career, he is in a better position to deal with this than most.
With that being said it is still sad to see so many talented people lose their jobs today. All of us here at WrestleTalk wish Helms the best and hope he can continue to maintain his positive attitude.
