Veer Mahaan defeated yet another ‘local talent’ on last night’s May 9 episode of WWE Raw, and here’s who that local talent actually was.
WWE gave him the name Frank Lowman for the night and billed him from Hartford, Connecticut where the show was being held, but it was actually Rex Lawless, an independent wrestler from Long Island, New York.
Lawless has wrestled for several notable promotions, including working three matches for AEW on Dark/Elevation last year.
After the show, Lawless tweeted:
Hey brothers, that was really cool! I’m still driving home and I really didn’t get a chance to go through the messages and everything yet. I’m going to give a big generic thank you to everybody here for now! I will try to respond more individually soon!! ❤❤
Just like we’ve seen throughout the past few weeks, Veer Mahaan dominated his opponent on his way to victory and then continued the assault post-match.
