IMPACT Wrestling announced the return of their all-women’s show ‘Knockouts Knockdown’ on Twitter today, as well as several important announcements regarding the show.
Gail Kim and Christy Hemme made the announcements, and they first announced that former NXT star Mercedes Martinez will make her IMPACT Wrestling debut at the event. No opponent for Martinez was named. Martinez was released from WWE back on August 6.
IMPACT also announced that they will be holding a Daffney Memorial Monster’s Ball match in honour of the late Shannon ‘Daffney’ Spruill, who tragically passed away on September 1.
Daffney was a part of the first Knockouts Monster’s Ball match with Taylor Wilde in 2009.
