Top Impact Star Wants To Bring Mickie James Story Full Circle Impact Wrestling

A top Impact Wrestling star wants to bring her story with Mickie James full circle by dethroning the Impact Knockouts World Champion.

Having a tumultuous history that has led to both women main eventing an Impact PPV at Hard to Kill 2022, Deonna Purrazzo has plenty to say about Mickie James and how she sees their story ending.

Speaking on The Bob Culture Podcast, Purrazzo gave her insight into how it should be her that ends James’ career, saying:

“Absolutely. It should be me. I think that Mickie and I have just told an amazing story over the last almost two years that she’s been with IMPACT, and I think that it would come really full circle for Deonna Purrazzo to be the one to defeat Mickie James.”

Looking back at their feud with each other, Purrazzo recalled:

“I never have defeated Mickie James before. I almost did, and then she cheated, so I just want to throw that out there.

“She only beat in December because she cheated, but IMPACT doesn’t seem to care about that.”

Purrazzo would then turn her attention to the next stage of her story with James, concluding:

“I think it would be so full circle and story-ending of, she dethroned me, and now I get to get my comeuppance years later.

“So it will be really interesting to see if we get to that point. I would love it.

“I know Mickie would love something like that to happen. It’s just a matter of time and if all the pieces are in the right place.”

Purrazzo lost the Impact Knockouts World Championship to James at Impact Bound for Glory in 2021.

James regained the Impact Knockouts World Championship from Jordynne Grace at Hard to Kill in 2023.
