With tonight’s IMPACT Wrestling pay-per-view marking Mickie James facing Jordynne Grace for the IMPACT Knockouts Championship, it really was career versus title.
Mickie James has been on an epic ‘Last Rodeo’, vowing to retire in the event of a loss in a quest to reclaim the IMPACT Knockouts Championship.
With stunning gear in homage to her Native American heritage, Mickie James was successful in her journey to capture the title yet again.
James bested champion Jordynne Grace to become IMPACT Knockouts World Champion.
Looking genuinely full of joy celebrating after her win, Mickie James truly deserved the ability to write her own final chapter on her road to becoming champ.
We’ll have to stay tuned to see what’s next for Mickie James; could we still see her pop up in San Antonio by the end of the month?
Mickie James has appeared in last year’s 2022 Royal Rumble along with her IMPACT Knockouts Championship belt which was acknowledged by commentary, a first for the time with Vince McMahon still at the helm.
