IMPACT Star Moose Pulled Out Of Signing With WWE IMPACT Wrestling

A top IMPACT Wrestling star has confirmed that he pulled out of signing with WWE prior to recommitting to the company.

Per Fightful Select (subscription required), former IMPACT World Champion Moose has confirmed the 2021 report indicating that WWE was interested in bringing him into the promotion.

Moose said that he had decided to leave for WWE before IMPACT Wrestling Executive Vice President Scott D’Amore approached him with a final offer that convinced him to stay with the company.

The report says that Moose had informal talks with WWE that included pitches to go straight up to the main roster, dependent on Vince McMahon’s approval.

Former WWE Senior Director of Talent Development Canyon Ceman was the point man on the talks with Moose, but WWE was very particular about not contract tampering. Ceman was let go by WWE in July 2021.

According to the report, Moose’s new deal with IMPACT is for two years.

Moose previously mentioned that he received deals from both WWE and AEW in an interview, which you can read here.
