WWE made a batch of cuts back in April 2021, featuring a number of surprising names, and IMPACT appears to be teasing the return of one of them.
One of the names released by WWE was Mickie James, who has recently appeared on NWA Power to set up the NWA’s women’s only pay-per-view.
On last night’s Impact, the company may have teased that Mickie James would be returning to the company in a segment with Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz, which featured them finding a trash bag with the wrestler’s name on it.

This could simply be a comedic reference to a story that Mickie shared following her release, but with Impact, AEW and NWA seemingly working together, Impact stars could appear on the NWA event.
Mickie has herself stated that she won’t be competing at the upcoming all women’s show that she is producing for the NWA.
Samoa Joe was also part of the same group of cuts as James, but recently made his return to NXT.
