IMPACT Wrestling will make a Slammiversary announcement this Thursday, and reports suggest it will focus on a ‘dangerous stipulation’.
As per George Iceman of Before The Impact, IMPACT are planning to feature a “dangerous” match during July’s Slammiversary event. Reporting that the stipulation match would be announced soon, Iceman tweeted:
“BREAKING – Hearing rumors that a dangerous stipulation match is in the works for #Slammiversary, my sources said this could be announced soon”
IMPACT retweeted Iceman’s report, noting that they will lay all their cards on the table on Thursday. Promoting the official announcement, IMPACT tweeted:
“(3x eye emojis) Official announcement coming Thursday at 12pm ET! #Slammiversary“
PWInsider previously speculated that Ultimate X could return at Slammiversary this year.
Former WWE star Steve Maclin (fka Steve Cutler) is set to make his in ring debut this week. Sami Callihan has also vowed to feature on Thursday’s show, despite being fired at Against All Odds.
A recent report revealed that Moose has re-signed with IMPACT. He will reportedly play a major role in IMPACT’s plans going forward.
