IMPACT Wrestling Announces A Special Two Night Event – EMERGENCE

IMPACT Wrestling has made a lot of waves recently in the wrestling world. A lot of the headlines are a result of the recent free agent signings.

IMPACT has debuted several former WWE and NXT superstars. Eric Young, ECIII, Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, Heath Slater, and Deonna Purrazzo have added some star power to an already promising roster.

WWE stars were the only recent signees making an impact, pun intended. Kylie Rae, Kimber Lee, and The Motor City Machine Guns are also getting big pushes.

How does IMPACT capitalize on the momentum from these signings and positive reactions to Slammiversary? Tonight, they announced a special event called Emergence.

Emergence will be held over two nights on August 18th and 25th. Emergence will feature two big matches that were announced on tonight’s show.

The first is a rematch for the Knockouts Championship where Deonna Purrazzo will defend the title against Jordynne Grace, if she makes it there. Kimber Lee made Purrazzo an offer to take out Grace prior to the match, if she could take her place in the match.

The second huge rematch is for the Tag Team Championships. The Motor City Machine Guns will have to defend their newly won titles against The North. The North are fresh off their record-setting reign and want the titles back.

While not officially announced, IMPACT is building towards an Eric Young vs. Eddie Edwards match for the IMPACT World Championship, Moose vs. ECIII for the TNA Title, and Ace Austin/Madman Fulton vs. The Good Brothers.
