Impact Wrestling Has Huge Plans For Former WWE Star

Last night on Impact Wrestling’s weekly show, former NXT star Deonna Purrazzo debuted for the promotion. This was Deonna’s first appearance at any show since being released from her WWE contract back in April.

Purrazzo debuted in a pretty big way, attacking Knockout’s Champion Jordynne Grace to close out the show. Fans are excited to see what she can do mixing it up with the likes of Taya Valkryie, former AEW star Kylie Rae and the aforementioned Jordynne Grace.

As if her debut wasn’t a big enough indication of the plans that Impact have for her, Fightful is reporting that Purrazzo is going to be pushed to the top of the card in Impact Wrestling, as indicated by her debut last night:

“Plans call for her to make an immediate impact and be pushed towards the top of the women’s division. She’s involved in tonight’s main event segment.”

This is very interesting as it was reported not too long ago that despite working for the promotion, Deonna had not signed a full-time deal with Impact Wrestling just yet. Perhaps things have changed, but it does seem strange that they would be willing to push her so hard if she wasn’t died down to the promotion.
