IMPACT Wrestling have officially announced their summer epic, Slammiversary, will stream live exclusively on FITE.tv in the UK, Ireland, Australia and countless more countries for the first time on July 22 (July 23 UK time).
President of IMPACT Wrestling, Ed Nordholm, had this to say about the historic announcement which will undoubtedly increase the promotion’s revenue:
“Slammiversary will be one of the biggest events in our company’s history. Through our partnership with FITE.tv, I am very excited that, for the first time ever, we can stream this monumental event live to our incredible fans all over the world, including the UK, ahead of our return at Wrestling MediaCon in September.”
Emanating from the Rebel Entertainment Complex in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, the sixteenth edition will be headlined by Austin Aries vs. Moose for the IMPACT World Championship and a special appearance by NJPW star Taiji Ishimori on the undercard. Though the empire has done wonders of changing opinions of itself in recent months, it still has a lot to prove with consistency being the foremost. Slammiversary XVI will go a long way to cementing the positive estimation it has recently garnered and clawing in new onlookers.
