An Impact Wrestling star has vacated their championship and won’t compete at the upcoming Rebellion pay-per-view.
On the April 14 episode of Impact Wrestling, Knockouts World Champion Mickie James confirmed that she was not cleared to compete.
With a shoulder tear and rib injuries sidelining James, it was confirmed that a new Knockouts World Champion will be crowned on Sunday April 16 at Rebellion.

The match for the now-vacant IMPACT Knockouts World Championship will see Jordynne Grace and Deonna Purrazzo face each other on a card that also features KUSHIDA vs. Steve Maclin for the vacant IMPACT World Championship.
Elsewhere on the card, Impact Wrestling fans can expect:
Two preshow matches with the IMPACT Knockouts World Tag Team Championships on the line as The Coven (Taylor Wilde & KiLynn King) face the challengers for their title, Death Dollz (Jessicka & Rosemary), along with Champagne Singh & Shera vs. Heath & Rhino in tag team action.
A 10-person hardcore match will see Team Bully (Bully Ray, Kenny King, Masha Slamovich, Moose & Brian Myers) vs. Team Dreamer (Tommy Dreamer, Yuya Uemura, Frankie Kazarian, Killer Kelly & Bhupinder Gujjar).
Three Way Elimination Match will see current IMPACT X Division Champion Trey Miguel vs. Jonathan Gresham vs. ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey
Santino Marella, Dirty Dango & Joe Hendry vs. The Design (Members TBA)
The IMPACT World Tag Team Championships of Chris Bey & Ace Austin will face Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) in an Ultimate X Match
PCO vs. Eddie Edwards (w/ Alisha Edwards) face off in a Last Rites Match.
