Impact Wrestling Official Leaving For AEW

Impact Wrestling Official Leaving For AEW

According to John Pollock of Post Wrestling, long time TNA/Impact Wrestling official Kevin Sullivan is leaving to join AEW.  Sullivan has spent more than ten years with TNA/Impact.

He was the creative director, executive producer, and VP of production from 2005-2013.  Many consider this some of the best times in TNA.

He came back to the company in 2017 and was the Executive VP of Production.  He has also worked for WWE, FOX Sports, and AEW.  His production company produced the openings for Fyter Fest and Fight for the Fallen.

It was reported today, Sullivan gave his notice.  Several others have also supposedly given their notice as well and are expected to join Sullivan in AEW.

These select few may work directly for AEW or with AEW through Sullivan’s production company.  This seems like a major blow to Impact Wrestling as they move to AXS TV.

Impact has not announced the official date and time for their show on AXS TV.  Impact has seen several key backstage personnel leave in the last few years with departures from Sonjay Dutt, Jeremy Borash, and Abyss.

However, AEW has secured someone who has a ton of experience producing weekly wrestling television shows in Sullivan.  Exactly what he will be doing in AEW is yet to be seen, but you might guess he will be working on their video packages in some capacity.
