So this week might be a bit strange. Honestly, I have no idea what to expect following the events of the weekend. Alberto El Patron has left Impact Wrestling, and that means all the build for the past few weeks involving the Impact World Championship picture, Alberto El Patron vs. Austin Aries at Redemption, was for nothing.
That being said, I’m hoping that Impact manages to pull something out this week to fix the situation. They have enough other stories to lay off for a week, but I’m sure it has been frustrating for them as they must have had most (if not all) of the build-up to Redemption filmed. I wouldn’t be surprised if we get no mention of the pay-per-view’s main event, which has now been changed to feature a three-way match between Austin Aries, Pentagon Jr, and Fenix.
