As first reported by WrestlingInc.com, IMPACT! Wrestling has re-signed top heel Sami Callihan to a multi-year deal. According to the news website, several more signings are set to be announced later this week including a former IMPACT World Champion.
Callihan currently stands as one of the best villains working in the world of professional wrestling today alongside the likes of Tommaso Ciampa – when he isn’t on the main roster. Since his initial debut with the company at their Bound For Glory pay-per-view in November 2017, the leader of oVe has been named the IMPACT! Wrestler of the Year in 2018 and earned the IMPACT Moment of the Year by bashing rival Eddie Edwards’ head in with a baseball bat.
On a side note, he also gets our moment of the year for stapling the WrestleTalk Magazine to Jimmy Havoc’s head during a deathmatch at Wrestling MediaCon in September last year.
According to WrestlingInc, this re-signing will not impact(!) Callihan’s ability to perform for MLW.
