Independent wrestling star Blake Christian has made his WWE debut on tonight’s (June 15) NXT.
Blake Christian was never referred to by his former name, instead going by his new ring name, Trey Baxter. He answered Kushida’s NXT Cruiserweight Championship open challenge, losing by submission.
After the match, he and Kushida shook hands. Baxter is the latest indie star to make his debut in this fashion, joining the former Christian Casanova (AKA Carmelo Hayes) who debuted a few weeks ago.
Trey Baxter made his pro wrestling debut in 2017 and has since wrestled for the likes of GCW and IMPACT Wrestling. It was announced that he had signed with WWE in February 2021.
