Indie Star Praises Eddie Kingston & Jerry Lynn For Helping Her In AEW AEW/ROH

An indie star has praised Eddie Kingston and Jerry Lynn for helping her in All Elite Wrestling.

Since the inception of AEW, the company has kept a close eye on the independent wrestling scene and regularly uses non contracted talent for spots on AEW Dark.

Madi Wrenkowski made her professional wrestling debut in October 2019 and then just over one year later, she found herself being used as a regular at AEW tapings in Jacksonville.

Speaking on the Natural State of Wrestling podcast, Wrenkowski reflected on her time in All Elite Wrestling and who was the most helpful to her in the company.

She stated:

“It was a blessing in disguise and I credit a big portion of my career to going where it is. Still working with them, I just had a match there last week, it’s surreal.”

“Some wrestlers don’t realize how much taking that moment with the fans means, and that’s something we often forget. For me, working with AEW, how much that actually means.”

“It’s a huge company and the fact that I’m even someone they call on or they consider, it’s incredible. Can’t complain.”

Crediting all the knowledgeable talent that AEW has backstage, Madi said:

“A lot of knowledge in the backstage area. It’s always helpful to pick the minds of Jerry Lynn, Eddie Kingston, Dustin (Rhodes). It’s great.”

“Jerry is someone who is, off the bat, so friendly, so knowledgable, and he really takes the time to sit down with you, watch what you do and tell you how he thinks you can adjust or tweak.”

“He values you as a person overall, rather than just a ‘wrestler putting on a product.’ He values you as a person.”

Later during the interview, Wrenkowski discussed how she has become less afraid to speak her mind and how this connected her with Kingston.

She said:

“I think that’s why I vibe so much with Eddie Kingston because he’s a very respect-based person, and like they always say, real recognize real, and he’s very real with me and tells it like it is. That’s what I do to other people.”

Madi Wrenkowski last competed on the December 26 edition of AEW Dark: Elevation, teaming with Vertvixen in a loss to Ruby Soho and Willow Nightingale.
