Ruby Riott was one of the many WWE stars released on June 2 earlier this year, and she is generally regarded as one of the most sought after wrestlers from that group of released talent.
Now going by Ruby Soho, Riott is someone many fans expect to see turn up in AEW later this year, and if Vickie Guerrero has her way, that’s exactly what will happen.
Speaking on the Thoughts Count Anywhere Podcast, Guerrero discussed a potential all-women’s faction, and when asked who she would like in the faction that isn’t currently signed to AEW, she said:
“I would love to have Ruby on the roster for AEW. She was really underutilized. Just a great talent and a wholesome human being.”
With AEW new show “Rampage” debuting in the coming weeks, many expect the promotion’s women’s division to be given much more of a spotlight.
The women’s division was given a much needed boost this past week when it was announced Thunder Rosa has officially signed for AEW, after the roster bought out her NWA contract.
