AEW’s The Bunny has been out of action with an injury since her match with Jamie Hayter on the February 8 episode of AEW Dynamite.
Bunny suffered an injury during the match, which led to the match ending early, with Bunny not wrestling since that match.
AEW star The Butcher appeared on Josh Nason’s Punch-Out podcast, where he spoke about The Bunny amid her absence.
Butcher confirmed that Bunny broke her orbital bone during the match, before saying he’s sure she’s going to be back ‘soon’.
He said:
“She (The Bunny) like hurt her orbital. She like broke her orbital and yeah, she’s doing really good. I’m sure she’s gonna be back soon. That’s the thing is when something like that — I think she came from an injury too so she was injured for a bit then had a couple matches and got injured. That’s gotta crush your confidence, you know what I mean? But the good thing is since she’s been gone, we’ve been kind of building this new little faction thing up and so when she comes back, it’ll be awesome.”
The Butcher and The Blade have aligned with Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford on AEW television in recent months.
