An injured AEW star is reportedly ready to make their return to the ring after missing over a year of action.
Former ROH World Champion Bandido has been out of action for over a year after suffering a wrist injury back in June 2023.
Bandido originally underwent surgery for the injury in July of last year, though the wrist didn’t heal properly, with him undergoing a second surgery in December 2023.
There was hope that he would be able to make his return in April or May, but that wasn’t the case.
Now, Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Bandido is now ready to return at any time.
Meltzer noted that Bandido was present backstage at last week’s AEW Dynamite taping in Salt Lake City, Utah, but was not sure if he was present at last night’s show in Cleveland.
We will provide any updates on Bandido’s potential return to action when they become available.
Last night’s Dynamite show saw the debut of former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley, who laid out Swerve Strickland to end the show.
