Injured AEW Star Returns On Collision After Nine Months Away AEW

An injured AEW star made their return on tonight’s episode of AEW Collision after nine months away, reuniting with a newly turned partner.

Former TNA World Champion Josh Alexander was officially announced as All Elite after debuting on last night’s Dynamite show, where he lost to Adam Page in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.

Following his loss, Alexander turned heel, joining the Don Callis Family, which led to a tag team match on tonight’s Collision, pitting Alexander and Konosuke Takeshita against Tomohiro Ishii and Rocky Romero.

The match ended with a betrayal, as Romero refused the tag from Ishii, allowing Alexander to pin Ishii for the win.

Following Rocky’s turn, he was joined in the ring by a returning Trent Beretta, who had been off television for nine months after undergoing neck fusion surgery, with the two Roppongi Vice members assaulting Ishii.

Following the attack, Trent reunited with Don Callis, with him nailing Ishii with a wrench, before he and Rocky officially joined the Don Callis Family.
