An injured AEW star made their return to television at tonight’s Summer Blockbuster television special after over a year away.
It has been over a year since the Workhorsemen last appeared on AEW television, with both Anthony Henry and JD Drake suffering injuries since their last appearance on AEW television.
A few weeks ago, Anthony Henry took to Twitter, where he announced that both he and JD Drake were 100% cleared to return to the ring after injury setbacks over the past year.
The two made their return to AEW television on tonight’s AEW Summer Blockbuster television special, where they confronted Big Bill and Bryan Keith backstage during their interview segment.
The Workhorsemen last competed for AEW on the June 1, 2024 episode of AEW Collision, where they lost to Katsuyori Shibata and Daniel Garcia.
