WWE NXT star Nikkita Lyons has provided an update on her return, announcing that she’ll be back in in-ring training soon.
Lyons has been out of action since January 2023 due to a torn ACL and Meniscus.
A couple of months ago, she’d teased that she just needed “a lil more time” before returning.
In a new Instagram post, she noted she “gets to start training in the ring again soon”.
Lyons was pushed heavily in the couple of months after her debut, so the whole landscape of NXT’s women’s division could have looked very different this past year if she hadn’t sustained the injury.
She only debuted on NXT TV in October 2022, which means she’s actually only had five TV matches.
She’s also had one match on Level Up, which was against Jakara Jackson, and that’s the last match she had before her absence.
We continue to wish Lyons all the best for her recovery.
