An injured WWE star is nearing a return to action according to a new report.
On the January 20 edition of WWE Raw, Damage CTRL member Dakota Kai suffered a reported concussion during her and IYO SKY’s tag team contest against Pure Fusion Collective (Zoey Stark & Shayna Baszler).
Ahead of the Royal Rumble it was reported that Kai was still in concussion protocol and had not been cleared for a return at the event.
However, now a new update from PWInsider Elite (via Wrestlingnews.co) has suggested the New Zealand star could be nearing a return to action.
According to the report Kai is “on the cusp” of a return to action, with WWE hoping the Damage CTRL star will be back on the road with the rest of the Raw roster within the next few weeks.
Another source within WWE believed that Kai would make her return by the end of this month, if not sooner.
We will provide further updates on Kai’s WWE return as more information becomes available.
We continue to wish Dakota Kai all the best in her continued recovery.
