An injured WWE star has made their return to the ring after six months out of action, sporting a new look during the match.
WWE NXT star Javier Bernal suffered an injury during a match taped for NXT Level Up back in June, with Bernal injuring his foot, requiring surgery that kept him on the shelf for 6 months.
It was reported earlier today by Fightful Select that Bernal was set to make his return to the ring, with him slated for a dark match prior to tonight’s WWE NXT show at the Performance Center.
Well, Bernal did indeed make his return to the ring ahead of tonight’s episode of NXT, competing in a dark match, and sporting a new look during the match.
Bernal is now sporting longer hair, as well as new black trunks and darker lighting for his entrance.
Taking to Twitter following the match, Bernal reacted to his return, simply saying:
I guess yall heard… #WWENXT
