An injured WWE star has provided an update on her rehabilitation after recently suffering her injury.
Current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Sonya Deville suffered the injury during her and Chelsea Green’s match against Bianca Belair and Charlotte Flair on July 28.
The injury was later confirmed to be a torn ACL, with the status of the Women’s Tag Team Championship currently up in the air.
Taking to Instagram, Sonya shared a video highlighting her rehab, paying tribute to her girlfriend who helped her through the time.
She wrote:
Rehab chronicles with my one and only @fit_tonicassano don’t know what I would do without this woman by my side. From making me laugh, to making sure I’m fed, to now literally helping me doing every single thing I can’t do on my own. You are the realest my Toni’s 🖤🙏
Chelsea Green has started her own search for a new tag team partner on Twitter since Sonya’s injury.
WWE has yet to officially strip Sonya and Chelsea of the titles following the injury.
